Author Instructions for Full Papers
Contributed Full Papers (up to 4 pages long) will be reviewed and selected for presentation either as an oral presentation or a poster presentation. The type of presentation will be determined by the Conference Organizing Committee based on factors such as the reviewer’s suggestions and topic of the paper. All presented and contributed full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
At least one author of the paper must be registered at the appropriate full conference rate (Standard, Early, or Reduced) in order for the accepted paper (after peer review) to be included in the Conference Proceedings. Please be sure that the attending author completes registration payment according to the published deadlines for Early, Regular and Late Registration below.

Author No Shows
Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author to attend and present the paper at the conference. Authors of the accepted papers included in the final program who do not attend the Conference will be subscribed to a “No Show List”, compiled by the IGS Society. The “no-show” papers will be removed from the Conference Schedule and noted as “Author unavailable for presentation” and removed from the Conference Proceedings. To help you prepare your paper for submission in PDF format, be sure your paper is formatted according to the Conference Paper Requirements (pay special attention to margins, single column format, do not put header/footer/page numbers & all papers must be written in English). At the time of submission, the manuscript will be tested for PDF compliance.
Each author that registers for the conference is limited to one (1) full paper submission for the conference. If an author would like to submit more than one final paper to the conference then a co-author should register for each additional paper and should present the paper. Final papers are limited to four (4) pages with abstracts limited to 400 words.
Authors should only submit originally written, unpublished work (data-based original research, Review, Perspective, Case Report, Empirical Study, Art-Science Demonstration, Methods, Policy Briefs or Technology Report ) to the Conference.
After submission of your paper, your contribution will be send for peer-review and considered confidential material. If your paper is accepted, you will be required to complete a Final Submission (Camera-Ready Paper in PDF format) which will appear in the conference proceedings. If your paper is accepted, you will be required to upload your final Camera Ready paper by April 29, 2019.
All submissions must be in US Letter page size format. Please follow the page margins strictly, you will not be permitted to upload your manuscript if it violates margin requirements – thus, it is highly recommended that you use the downloadable MS-Word template.
Final submissions must be in one-column format and written in English.
Do not put your own page numbers or running headers/footers on the manuscript.
Only the corresponding author should upload the final paper — but any of the co-authors can register for the conference and pay for registration.
Although several authors may be associated with a paper, at least one must be registered and attend the conference to present the paper. Otherwise the paper should be withdrawn.
The corresponding author will need to complete a copyright form for the paper to appear in the Conference Proceedings. The form will be available upon acceptance of the paper.
