Camille Artur is the managing director of the NSF I/UCRC BRAIN (Building Reliable Advances and Innovations in Neurotechnology) at University of Houston  and a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Houston. She received her PhD in Physics from the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and was a postdoctoral fellow with the ECE department at University of Houston for two years. Her research focuses on optical (Raman, IR) spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging, novel optical microscopy techniques for large-scale tissue phenotyping and plasmonics for electrocatalysis.
