Visual Artist and writer
Saúl Hernández-Vargas was awarded the Master's degree in visual arts by the University of California, San Diego and is doctoral student in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Houston. Saúl is co-founder of the magazines Yagular and Sur+Ediciones. He has been artist-in-residence at Nagoya University of Arts (Japón), de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (España), de la Universidad de Bellas Artes de Nantes (Francia) y de FieldWork (Marfa, Texas). His first book 'Te preparé humo' will be published by UNAM later this year.
